I don’t have anything else to do with these pictures (also, I thought my mom would like them)
On Friday, I did what I always do on Fridays: groomed myself excessively. I went to Sephora in Times Square to check out their eyebrow studio because I am writing an article on brow shaping (people need to know). When I was there, the manager very nicely asked me if I wanted to have some free photos taken of myself by a fancy photographer, who also shoots models and Netflix ads. Since I don’t have enough professional pictures of myself to put on the Internet, I said okay. I was whisked away by a guy named “Martini” who did my makeup and was awesome. We exchanged email address afterwards, and his begins with “I Brings It.” After Martini used no fewer than fifteen products on me to give me a natural look, he put me in front of the photographer. I was a little concerned about my hair since I hadn’t washed it that morning, but decided not to mention it. The photographer was really cool, even though he kept saying “Pretty” at me like I was a dog, and overall it was one of those surreal New York moments that I can’t believe I haven’t run out of my allotment of yet. Martini does nice work right?
